POPPY NECKLACE, CLAY

Polymer clay is increasingly used to make hand sculpted jewellery as it affords the artist almost limitless contour options while providing a medium that has deep lifelike colour. Although maintaining some necessary consistency, each piece is in fact one of a kind, something that is rare with today's focus on high volume manufacturing. It has been a pleasure to work with the artist, Jane Penner of Rockwood Ontario, on the design of this piece. This necklace features a 1 ½” poppy made of polymer clay that offers a soft luxurious texture and comes with a 20” sterling silver plated link chain. Each piece comes individually packaged in a custom box suitable for presentation or gift giving.
